Nancy Ferry came to me at a critical time in my job search, and in my life. I was a recent MA and MLS graduate with a major change in my career path. I had just asked God for an accountability partner, a mentor, or someone who could not only focus on my career goals (my school career office was great) but also understand why I was still feeling culture shock in the country of my birth.
Nancy understood the questions and challenges I continued to face after having lived over ten years in Mozambique. When she reached out to me, I was starting to process the ramifications of a shift in my career trajectory. I also needed help to translate my “missionary” experience into a resume for my new path forward.
One-on-one video meetings and phone calls kept me moving the needle towards my goals. She provided the tools to help me secure a job that is more than a steady income, it is in the field that I enjoy!
